Menswear is quite obviously a keen interest of mine if you regularly read this blog, and street style is even more captivating to me. I could spend hours, if not days, trawling through street style blogs for outfit inspiration or just to release my happy hormones because aesthetically pleasing images of people and their style can simply send me into an undeniably blissful trance.

Therefore I have put together small list of my top 5 menswear street style blogs just for you!

1. Dapper Lou

Blogger Lougè is a Brooklyn-based self-taught stylist which is how his blog began. He wanted to create a platform to express and share his dabbles in the photography and fashion industry, however, now it has grown into a fully-fledged fashion, lifestyle and culture browsing destination for many.

2. Le21ème

I stand corrected with regards to this blog being a ‘street style blog’ as the guys running it are very clear that is it NOT a street style blog, but ‘your photo-journalistic view into the daily world of fashion from cities and Fashion Weeks around the world. This is a portal into the lives of others, making moments tangible.’ Their list of clients is probably as long as my arm and includes established brands and magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, GQ, Grazia, MAC, Marc Jacobs, Vogue and the list goes on. What I especially love about this blog is that is does not focus on one style or location. It goes to each end of the spectrum in every sense possible with regards to fashion and style.

3. Men in this Town

Giuseppe Santamaria, a Sydney-based photographer, photographs ‘men with a distinct look in their natural habitat.’ He is originally from Toronto, Canada but now lives in Sydney. The blog began in 2010, was transformed into a book in 2014 and will now be become a quarterly printed publication this year, named MITT. Keep your eyes peeled for it!

4. The Locals

Style.com and Vogue International contributor, the Danish Søren Jepson, is the fashion photographer behind the blog The Locals. He began sharing his street style images in 2007 before it was even a ‘thing’, with one driving force, to inspire! From the fashion elites at the shows or a casual guy popping out for an afternoon coffee, Jepson’s got this down to a T.

5. Boy From Dagbon

Boy from Dagbon originally began as a tumblr which I had been following for some time thanks to a street style photography book I received as a gift a few Christmases ago. From silver foxes in stylish suits to (for want of a better word) ‘hipster’ characters, the blog creator and photographer, Abdel Abdulai captures it all! He clearly loves to capture people who express their profoundly interesting personalities via the media of fashion and style.
