‘Roadtrip’ Photoshoot By Robert Macneil

We’re getting to be huge fans here at Beauty & Ruin of photographer Robert MacNeil. It seems from the response to his last shoot that most of you are too (if you haven’t seen it then check it out here). Whilst we are primarily a Brighton based fashion and lifestyle magazine we feel Robert’s style is Brightonian to the max – his choice of models and the mis-en-scene of his shots remind us of home. Perhaps this is close to the truth than is at first apparent – Brighton is after all a liberal bubble in an otherwise very different country and has more in common with Trudeau’s wonderful Canada than the rest of the UK.
